About the Artist
Marti Lay combines her love of storytelling and visual arts in her paintings and illustrations. Inspired by animals, botanicals, and her extensive travel, she hopes to express the delight and emotion of these creatures and natural landscapes.
“Ever since I was a child I’ve created stories and paintings. As an artist, I’m motivated by a love of color and by a deep curiosity about the natural world. For me, creating is a playful, dynamic process that connects us to our environment and one another. I’m excited and honored to share my work with you.”
